We take privacy seriously. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not run advertising on this Site. Our goal is to collect only what we need to operate the service.

Information You Provide

• Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and any information provided through Google OAuth (name, profile photo). We do not support password-based login.
• Saved data: If you choose to save your kill list or savings tracker, that data is stored in our database (Supabase) and associated with your account.

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: We may collect anonymized analytics about how the Site is used, including pages visited and features used. We use privacy-first analytics tools (such as Plausible or Fathom) that do not use cookies and do not track you across the web.
• IP address: We log IP addresses for the purpose of rate limiting the Analyzer tool (maximum 50 analyses per IP per day). IP logs are not retained long-term.
• Log data: Standard server logs may capture browser type, referring URLs, and timestamps. This data is used for debugging and security purposes only.

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not use third-party advertising cookies
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information
• We do not build advertising profiles on our users

How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve the Site and its features
• To authenticate your account and maintain your saved data

Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below. IP rate-limit logs are purged on a rolling basis and are not retained beyond what is necessary for abuse prevention.

• Vercel - website hosting and deployment
• Anthropic - AI API used to power the Analyzer tool

Cookies

We use session cookies only for authentication purposes (to keep you logged in). We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Our analytics provider does not use cookies.

Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including row-level security on all database tables and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. The Analyzer Tool

The Analyzer tool allows you to upload a CSV file exported from your bank, credit card, or expense management platform. Your raw financial data is never transmitted to our servers. CSV parsing happens entirely in your browser (client-side) using the Papaparse library. Only a cleaned list of merchant names and amounts is sent to our API for analysis.

That cleaned data is sent to the Anthropic Claude API to identify potential SaaS subscriptions and generate recommendations. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their own privacy policy and terms of service. We do not store the contents of your CSV or the cleaned data payload after your analysis session ends.

The Analyzer is rate-limited to 5 analyses per IP address per day to prevent abuse and manage costs. If you create an account, your saved kill list is stored in our database and associated with your account.

Analyzer results are recommendations only. We are not responsible for any financial, business, or technical decisions you make based on analyzer output. Always verify subscription data against your own records before canceling anything.

7. User Accounts

Account creation is optional. The Analyzer tool runs without an account. An account is required only to save your kill list and track your savings over time.

We support two authentication methods: Google OAuth and email/password. When signing in with Google, you agree to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in addition to ours. If you sign up with email and password, your password is securely hashed and stored by our authentication provider (Supabase). We never have access to your plaintext password.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We are not liable for any unauthorized access to your killyoursaas.ai account resulting from compromise of your Google credentials.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your saved kill list and savings data will be permanently removed from our systems.

8. Intellectual Property

All original content on killyoursaas.ai - including written guides, blog posts, tool descriptions, and site design - is owned by TechCrowds, LLC and protected by applicable copyright law.

You may share links to our content and quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not reproduce our guides, blog posts, or other original content in full without written permission.

Product names, logos, and trademarks referenced on this Site belong to their respective owners. Their use here is for identification and commentary purposes only and does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

"Kill Your SaaS" is a brand name of TechCrowds, LLC. Unauthorized use of this name or confusingly similar marks is prohibited.
